Welcome to Mars Palace-
Apparel that is thoughtfully designed to honor the beauty of change. Drawing from the inspirational arts and techniques that have been persevered over centuries, each piece is created with the vision of weaving past, present, and future into something timeless- both lovely and lasting.
MP garments are sustainably made using ancient hand-block printing techniques by skilled artisans in India. First, the design is hand-carved into wood, stamped into dye and then pressed onto 100% cotton fabric. Produced in very small quantities- often fewer than ten pieces per fabric combination- each garment is part of a slower, more intentional way of making and wearing clothing- one that values quality, story, and care over speed.
Many of Mars Palace garments are designed to be a friend through change, especially our Sonata Dress- an ode to the metamorphosis of womankind.
Through pregnancy, post-partum, nursing, and the quiet changes of shape and size, it serves as a keepsake of the memories made- not just of how you looked but of how you lived, a gentle reminder of triumph and change.
