MARS PALACE garments are thoughtfully designed with comfort, movement, and the natural shape of the body in mind. Many of our silhouettes are designed to offer ease through the body and, depending on the style, may accommodate natural changes in shape and size.
Use the measurements below as a general guide when selecting your size. Because each garment has its own construction and proportions, we also recommend reading the individual product description for specific fit notes before ordering.
Size Chart (in inches):
•XS: Bust 32–33 | Waist 24–26
•S: Bust 34–35 | Waist 26–28
•M: Bust 36–38 | Waist 28–30.5
•L: Bust 38–40 | Waist 29–32
•XL: Bust 40–42 | Waist 32–34
•XXL: Bust 42–44 | Waist 34–36
Room to Twirl
A dress should leave room for movement—and a good twirl. Most MARS PALACE skirts are intentionally designed with generous ease through the hips, allowing the fabric to fall freely rather than cling closely to the body. For this reason, bust and waist measurements are generally more important than hip measurements when choosing your size.
How to Measure
Bust:
Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the measuring tape level and comfortably relaxed.
Waist:
Measure around your natural waist without pulling the tape tightly.
For the most accurate result, we recommend measuring over the type of undergarments or clothing you would normally wear beneath the garment.
Between Sizes?
If your measurements fall between two sizes, consider the intended fit of the particular garment. A relaxed or adjustable style may allow for more flexibility, while a more fitted silhouette may benefit from choosing the larger size.

Mini
Above the knee
A playful, shorter silhouette with a hemline that falls above the knee.
Midi
Below the knee to mid-calf
An easy, versatile length that falls below the knee and around the mid-calf.
Tea
Mid-calf to lower calf
A vintage-inspired length traditionally associated with afternoon tea and leisurely dressing.
Ballet
Lower calf
A graceful length falling toward the lower calf, inspired by the elegant proportions of a ballet skirt.
Ankle
At or just above the ankle
A long, easy silhouette that finishes around the ankle without reaching the floor.
Maxi
Ankle to floor
The longest MARS PALACE length, flowing from the ankle toward the floor.
A Note on Handmade Measurements
MARS PALACE garments are produced in small batches, and many are made using traditional handcrafting techniques. Small variations in measurements may occur between garments.
When an individual garment has a particularly distinctive fit, length, or construction, those details will be noted on its product page.
We believe clothing should have room to live with you—not ask you to fit yourself into it.
